The Menard Morning Glories JMG group, from Menard, Texas have been chosen has 2009 National Junior Master Gardener Group Service & Achievement Award Winner. This group serves as an exceptional example of how young people can together as leaders while giving back to their community.
The Menard Morning Glories, now consisting of thirty members, have learned and accomplished a great deal. The group has reached out to the local fire department, schools, garden club, senior center and public library with their annual plant sale.
